If you have a CISCO phone and want the Jabra Pro headset to work properly, you have to buy this. It's a mystery to me that why Jabra would not include this in the Jabra Pro itself but thats a different debate.Without this USB adapter, I had to bring the phone off-hook manually, to make a call or to hang it up! The headset was merely a means to "transfer" a call in progress to the headset. After installing this adapter, one can:1. Start a call from the headset itself (without bothering to pick the handset off).2. Hang up a call3. Mute / Un-Mute4. And even get answer an incoming call, directly from the headset (while being away from the phone itself).5. Install is as easy as 1-2-3It does not interfere or change anything with respect to your handset / speakerphone operation of your phone. Plugs into the USB port of your phone and the two RJ-11 jacks plug into your headset-base. And you are up and running.Bottomline, this device should have been included with the Jabra Pro, but it's not. Regardless, its a must have for any one who owns a Jabra Pro desktop headset.
Arrived on time. Works well with the Cisco 9971 and Jabra Pro wireless headset I use. Occasionally my headset looses connectivity, but I think that's between the Headset and the base. Does a great job!
