Even before the birth of your child, your heart has been swept up in a powerful tide of love for that little person soon-to-be. Birth brings this miracle, this child, into the world and your capacity for love is instantly expanded.

Delicate fingers and tiny toes. Snuggly and safe in your arms. Lusty cries announcing a new presense to the world ... a new bright world of firsts.

As well as taking care of all of your family's photographic needs, it is a joy and special privilege for me to be allowed to work with families to capture baby's first year of life. The way she pouts before she cries. The way he throws back his head when he laughs. The joy and pride enscribed in your heart and reflected in your face when you hold your baby close.

These are real moments, both ordinary and extraordinary, that are worthy of being passed along to the future. Real moments, sweet, precious and fleeting.

Watch Me Grow packages include six sessions, spaced throughout your child's first year of life with an eye for those developmental milestones which occur at about 1, 3, 6, and 9 months of year. Flexibility is key to capturing your baby's growth.

At the end of the year, we will design and produce an heirloom 8 x 12 inch - 20 page coffee table book, included in your package. We will produce a birth announcement and birthday invitation and four 11 x 17 prints for your family to frame and proudly display. Other products may be added a la carte.

All shoots are done on location, so pick your favorite spot: at the beach, in the park, with your loved ones, cuddling the family pet - whatever suits you! Kick off the shoes and start thinking about how you'd love to be photographed. Be adventurous, be funny, be happy ... be you.

My specialty is capturing your family's love of the outdoors. But if you prefer the comfortable, familiar setting of your own home or yard, that's fine, too. I consider my job done well if you've had fun and I've captured a tiny piece of who you are at the moment. When I make a photographic record for your family, I like to think of the image being shared with the next generation - a treasured part of your family's visual history.

A child's portrait session begins at $135.00 with a $70.00 print credit.

A family portrait session begins at $250.00 with a $100.00 print credit.

How do you identify your primary photographic style?
Your wedding is a unique event. It's the bringing together of two people and their family and loved ones to witness the sharing of your marriage vows. This day is the fulfillment of months of planning, down to the smallest detail. I understand how important it is for you to completely trust your photographer with documenting the day. Rest assured. It is my passion to capture the story of your day as it unfolds. That includes capturing all of the details, the emotions and to document the more formal aspects. The result is a collection of photographs which tell the story of your day.

Please describe any special techniques you offer:
It begins with careful planning with the couple to assure that I understand the type of photography you desire. I'm equally happy helping my couples feel comfortable in having formal photographs as I am in helping them unleash a fun fashionable side, or quietly working in the background in a more photojournalistic style.

I'm well versed in photoshop and can offer the bride and groom beautiful, artistic translations of their wedding day images.

Which lighting situations do you have experience with?
I'm comfortable shooting in all lighting. Photography is painting with light and a good photographer is able to use all of the tools at their disposal to capture the moment.

Do you have a media preference?
I am working only in digital capture.

How many photographers do you work with?
Sometimes I will bring a second shooter, but enjoy shooting alone.

Do you guarantee your presence at the actual event?
I am the sole photographer, but I do have access to other resources in the very unlikely event that something might keep me away from my engagement with you on your special day.

Do you have a replacement photographer in case you become unavailable on the wedding day?
Yes, I have a fine network within the photographic community.

What kind of equipment do you typically bring with you on the day-of?
Everything I need, including redundant equipment.

Do you bring back-up equipment to the event in case of malfunction?
Yes, a competent photographer is one who is prepared.

Do you charge for travel?
Yes, if outside of the Bay Area

How soon after the event are the proofs ready for viewing?
Within a couple of weeks, guaranteed within 30 days.

In what format are the initial proofs offered?

How long can the couple keep the proofs?

Do you retain the copyright for the photos?
Yes

Do you reserve the right to publish the photos?

Do you provide the digital files and/or negatives (or copies of the negatives) to the couple?

What kind of albums do you offer?
A variety of the most sought-after albums. I love delivering a completed album which I know will be a treasured family heirloom, to be enjoyed over and over again.

When will I get the final book?
Within the time prescribed by the contract.

Wedding packages begin at $1800.00. Please call to discuss a custom package to fit within your budget.

Prints are made on Kodak Professional Endura paper (a traditional E-surface paper). I add a lustre coating that resists fingerprinting.

I also offer Endura metallic prints which feature a unique pearlescent surface. Endura metallic offers natural looking flesh tones, sharp details and and beautifully saturated colors. Plus, Endura is strong and resistant to tearing and curling without any additional lamination. For metallic prints, please add $8.00 to the prices quoted. Endura metallic is not available in 4 x 6 prints.

It is my pleasure to offer clients a custom presentation of their favorite photos. I can produce cards, storyboards, and a variety of albums. Many of my clients ask for proof albums from their sessions and then decide to step up to coffee table books. I'd be happy to discuss the presentation of your images to you in one of these formats.
